Code of Professional Ethics and Conduct

KAI Research, Inc., an exceptional clinical research organization (CRO) founded in 1986 has been committed to providing innovated, cost-effective, and practical supports to the pharmaceutical, biologic, and related industries, as well as the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

In an effort to adhere to the highest professional ethical behavior in all that we do in the conduct of clinical research, we will:

  • Conduct business in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and technical standards;
  • Promote high standards of practice;
  • Avoid Conflicts of Interests by avoiding any relationship, influence, or activity that might impair our ability to make objective and fair decisions when performing our jobs;
  • Adhere to the Conflict of Interests policy of the National Institutes of Health (NIH);
  • Adhere to KAI?s IT Security Policy;
  • Keep proprietary and confidential documents protected and secure;
  • Adhere to corporate guidelines for ethical conduct if involved in civic and/or political affairs;
  • Compete fairly and ethically for all business opportunities;
  • Neither give nor accept business courtesies that constitute, or could be reasonably perceived as constituting, unfair business inducements or that would violate law, regulation or policies of the company or client;

  • Accept responsibility for the competent execution of all assignments.
