Our experience primarily falls in four key therapeutic areas:
- Mental health
- Musculoskeletal conditions
- Infectious disease
In addition, we have extensive experience supporting research with vulnerable populations, specifically pediatrics and the aging, through our long-standing contracts with the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), and the National Institute of Mental Health. We understand the problems related to recruitment, retention, data quality, and site performance that often arise in clinical studies of these populations. We employ age-sensitive strategies to recruit representative pediatric and elderly populations. We also pay close attention to the risks posed to these populations and make recommendations commensurate with the level of risk. For over 10 years, we provided coordination center support for the National Institutes of Health Pediatric Pharmacology Research Units (PPRU), which makes us particularly qualified to conduct pediatric studies.
