NIH SUPPORT

KAI has experience supporting clinical study and data management for the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). For these Institutes, KAI supports studies that involve industry sponsors and are submitted to the FDA under IND applications. KAI also provides quality assurance, safety monitoring, investigator training, process reviews, and scientific portfolio support for the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin (NIAMS), National Institute on Aging (NIA)  and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). KAI is applying innovative technology to the scientific needs of these Institutes including the development of common data elements and data warehouses.

Of interest, KAI provided coordination center support for the NIH Pediatric Pharmacology Research Units (PPRU) for over 10 years. This experience makes us particularly qualified to conduct pediatric studies.
